A Vehicle-Fitment, Multi-Brand Storefront for S&B Filters

S&B Filters builds performance air filters, cold-air intakes, and related upgrades where one detail decides everything: the part has to fit a specific year, make, model, and engine. Buy the wrong fitment and it's a return, a bad review, and a lost customer - so the storefront's whole job is to give shoppers absolute confidence they're ordering the right part for their exact vehicle.
It also isn't one brand but a family of them - S&B Filters alongside sibling brands like JLT Performance and Daystar - that need to feel connected while keeping their own identities, all on a storefront that has to stay fast, accessible, and accurately measured across paid channels.
The Results
S&B shoppers can land on the site and, in a few clicks, see only the parts that fit their truck - turning the riskiest moment in performance-parts shopping into a confident one. The result is a coherent multi-brand experience that's accessible, measurable, and built to scale across S&B's growing catalog.
With DYODE as their ongoing development team, S&B keeps launching products, expanding fitment coverage, and refining the storefront - on a foundation engineered around the way their customers actually shop.
The Approach
DYODE built and launched S&B's Shopify storefront - replatforming the business off legacy Miva and migrating its catalog, customers, order history, and (critically) Year/Make/Model fitment data - then stayed on as their long-term development team. It's a partnership that's run continuously since go-live in 2023.
We treat vehicle fitment as the core of the experience rather than a bolt-on, and favor durable, native Shopify solutions so a large catalog stays maintainable as products and campaigns evolve.
What We Built
At the center is a Shop-By-Vehicle fitment search - year, make, model, and engine - that narrows the catalog to exactly what fits a shopper's vehicle, backed by a fitment-confirmation step so they can double-check before they buy. We built a custom Shopify storefront around it, including a dedicated product template and homepage brand section for child brand JLT Performance, and metafield-driven PDP content tuned to surface the specs that matter for filters and intakes.
Under the hood, we shipped native B2B for dealers (PO checkout, hidden inventory, and tiered price lists) with a Become-a-Dealer flow, a product-launch tracker with pre-orders for hyped drops, multi-location inventory wired into NetSuite, and required Prop 65 and California-shipping compliance messaging - plus an analytics build-out across GTM, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads conversion tracking.
Accessibility & Optimization
Working from a Level Access ADA audit, we ran a phased accessibility remediation across the homepage, global elements, product pages, and cart - and continue to ship a steady stream of UX and merchandising improvements across the family of brands as part of the ongoing retainer.
