The biggest challenge: furniture delivery logistics. Customers expect white-glove delivery, specific time windows, and the ability to coordinate delivery with old furniture removal.
Their legacy systems couldn't support the complexity of zone-based delivery scheduling, real-time availability across 120+ stores, or the seamless in-store-to-online handoff that modern furniture shoppers demand.
The Results
Online revenue grew significantly in the first year, driven largely by the confidence-building delivery experience. Delivery satisfaction scores improved dramatically, and delivery-related customer service inquiries dropped significantly.

Delivery & Store Integration
We built a custom delivery management system integrated directly into the Shopify checkout that calculated delivery zones, availability windows, and white-glove service options in real time. Customers could see exact delivery dates and costs before completing their purchase.
Store integration allowed sales associates to start orders in-store and customers to complete them online - or vice versa - with real-time inventory visibility across all 120+ locations.
