Shopify Plus stores for food and beverage brands

We build and run stores for Ardbeg, Glenmorangie, ALOHA, N!CK’S and The Bruery: age gates and alcohol compliance, subscriptions that survive a platform change, and one brand selling into several countries.

Sound familiar?

We sell spirits in several countries, and U.S. alcohol law decides who can ship a bottle to whom.

Compliance is the checkout. Age gates, who’s allowed to sell, and which market a shopper is in all get decided before the cart does.

FAQ

Questions food & beverage brands ask us

Can you handle alcohol compliance on Shopify?

Yes. We route U.S. alcohol orders through licensed retailers like ReserveBar, run other countries on Shopify Markets, and build region-specific age gates and consent into each market launch.

Can I sell alcohol on Shopify?

Yes, with the right setup. Spirits brands we work with run on Shopify Plus. Your licenses decide who you can sell and ship to, so U.S. spirits orders often go through a licensed retailer like ReserveBar. You also need an age gate and a payment provider that accepts alcohol.

Can you run ads for an alcohol brand?

Yes, inside the platforms’ rules. Google won’t serve alcohol ads to anyone under the legal drinking age where the ad runs. Meta requires 18 and over at minimum, 21 and over in the U.S., and bans alcohol ads in some countries. We set age and country targeting per market and keep the creative to what both platforms allow.

Can you move our subscribers to a new subscription app?

Yes. We move active subscribers between apps, including ReCharge to Skio and Bold to ReCharge, so renewals carry on without customers having to sign up again.

Can one store sell into several countries?

Yes. We set up Shopify Markets and per-region stores on one shared theme, rolled out a market at a time, including bilingual stores like English and French for Canada.
