Evie Ring, the first smart ring designed specifically for women's health, faced a unique eCommerce challenge: customers needed to be sized before purchasing, the product required pairing with a health tracking app, and the brand needed to educate consumers about a new product category while converting pre-launch interest into sales.
The sizing flow was critical - get it wrong and return rates would kill the business. But make it too complex and you'd lose customers who were excited about the product but intimidated by the process.
The Results
The sizing-first approach delivered a strong kit-to-purchase conversion rate with an industry-leading low return rate. The email nurture sequences converting sized customers achieved a strong conversion rate.
Evie Ring launched to critical acclaim, and the seamless digital experience played a key role in earning a 4.5-star average customer rating.
Sizing & Purchase Flow
We designed a two-step purchase flow: first, a free sizing kit was shipped to the customer; then, once sized, a personalized email flow guided them back to purchase their ring in the perfect size. The entire journey was tracked and optimized, with nudge sequences for customers who received their sizing kit but hadn't yet purchased.
The product pages were education-first, explaining health tracking features, ring sizing, and the companion app experience in a way that built confidence without overwhelming.
